Mondadori acquires Emap France.

In 2006, Mondadori takes a big step forward in its international expansion with the acquisition of Emap France, one of France’s leading magazine publishers, today Mondadori France.

Entry into the French magazine market, Europe’s biggest both in terms of revenue and advertising, is part of Mondadori’s international development strategy. Its aim is to exploit the company’s publishing know-how and leadership in the European magazine market on a global scale.

Mondadori France has a varied portfolio of titles and can count on a large portfolio of widely distributed titles including Closer, Biba, Auto Plus, Science&Vie, Pleine Vie, Top Santé.
