Panorama d’Italia returns and flies to New York: the very best of Italian excellence in 11 stages

Starting from Turin of 5 April and ending in Ragusa in November with many new features. And in the autumn, a transfer to the US for “This is Italy – Parts Unknown”. This is Panorama d’Italia 2017

The fourth edition of Panorama d’Italia, the live & media experience of Panorama, kicks off on 5 April to talk about Italy directly from its streets with initiatives and events open to everyone. After the record-breaking 2016 edition, the Mondadori Group newsmagazine, edited by Giorgio Mule, returns to celebrate the protagonists of the best of Italy in the business world, the economy, culture, science and food and wine, in 10 new stages taking in 13 Italian cities between April and November, with a successful award-winning format and many new features.

An authentic consecration of a now tried and tested formula of talk shows, debates with the protagonists of national politics, conferences, shows: in three years some 13 million people were reached by the tour and the public who intervened directly at the various appointments in the 30 cities amounted to some 320,000 thousand, with 1,123 guests and speakers (including 17 ministers, 15 Regional Presidents and 26 mayors), 1,210 media mobilised for 636 events, all open to the public, 511 entrepreneurs involved round table discussions with the participation of over 1,800 companies (including 500 innovative start-ups) and, finally, 37 universities and a total of 121 sponsors.

“Like all creatures, in this case editorial, also Panorama d’Italia has its own development path,” said the editor of Panorama Giorgio Mule. “After making the week dedicated to Milan permanent, this year, in addition to the 10 Italian stages, we decided to take a leap: to America. So, it is with considerable pride that we are launching This is Italy – Parts Unknown, a twin of the Panorama d’Italia that will be in New York in the autumn. We did this following in the path laid out by the President of the Italy, Sergio Mattarella. In fact, in October 2016, the President encouraged Panorama d’Italia to “enhance the excellence in which Italy is rich, and to expand knowledge and confidence in the future.” And  that is what we will do in this, even richer, edition of Panorama d’Italia and that’s what we’ll do in New York with This is Italy – Parts Unknown,” Mulè concluded.

The stages of the tour and the American “expedition”

In 10 stages from April to November, Panorama will cross Italy from north to south, involving local excellence and prestigious guests, moderated by the magazines leading journalists and others. For four days each city will host a full calendar of events in the most representative places in close contact with the protagonists.

We get started in Turin (from 5-8 April) and then make a stop in Bologna (19-22 April), Pavia (17-20 May), Spoleto, Norcia and Montefalco (7-10 June), Bari (28 June-1July), Trieste and Udine (6-9 September), Olbia (27-30 September), a special stop in Milan (15-21 October) and, finally, Caserta (8-11 November) and Dubrovnik (22-25 November).

This year these dates will be supplemented by This is Italy – Parts Unknown, a special stage in New York, from 31 October to 2 November: three days of events with a programme entirely dedicated to the discovery and celebration of our country through food and wine, business, fashion, design, art and culture. A showcase of excellence, thanks to the collaboration of Italian Business and Investment Initiatives and the support of the prestigious US Council on Foreign Relations, that includes four workshops dedicated to companies that have been able to put down roots in the United States, the excellence of Italian food and manufacturing, the best practices of Italian institutions and the capacity of cities to modernise. During a gala dinner at the Harvard Club, Italian & American Leadership awards will be presented. Among the Italians to be awarded will be the tenor Vittorio Grigolo, the football player Andrea Pirlo and the chef Vito Mollica.

What’s new in 2017

There will be a number of new features in the 2017 edition, which confirms the most popular of appointments recent years and will expand the range of initiatives with new partners and new projects.

A city in the mirror: Inthera, a company of the Mondadori Group, will conduct research dedicated to the territory of each stage to find out people’s views on work, their faith in and expectations for the future, their sense of belonging, social values, and their level of satisfaction with available services. The research will also examine issues related to consumption and buying propensity.

Focus meetings: after the extraordinary reception of last year, Focus will double its presence in the Panorama d’Italia programme, with four the events organised in every stage by Italy’s most widely read magazine, with 5 million readers, and edited by Jacopo Loredan. The novelty of 2017 is “Health on a plate. Discovering the truth and misconceptions about food”, a new format dedicated to nutrition and health, that will take the form of a Q & A with researchers and industry experts. Also making its debut this year is “Discover the past, understand the present”, which with Focus Storia will look at current events through episodes and events which have their origin in the local history of our country.

Also confirmed is the appointment with astronomy, which last year saw the astronaut Umberto Guidoni “Walking in space” with scientists and astronauts from the Italian Space Agency (ASI-Agenzia Spaziale Italiana) and the European Space Agency (ESA). Another repeat feature is the meeting dedicated to the environment with “Pollution and climate change: a changing earth”, in collaboration with the Department of Earth Sciences and Environmental Technology of the CNR, the Italian Air Force and Greenpeace Italy. During the event secondary school students will be the protagonists of a training workshop organised by Focus journalists.

Startups and innovation: the title is “Eureka: an idea becomes a business”, and it is a Panorama d’Italia competition that rewards business ideas and the most innovative projects aimed at the collective well-being of local communities. A panel of industry experts will award the idea and the most innovative start-up with a week of intensive training in New York as part of the “One Week Accelerator Program NY organised by the Italian Business & Investment Initiative.” An extraordinary showcase for business opportunities across the Atlantic for makers and startuppers from the nine regions involved in the tour and operating in the sectors of mobility; green economy; environmental health; youth and schools/work; tourism; wellness and lifestyle; integration and multicultural initiatives; an cyber security.

Projects for schools: students from the schools in the territories involved in the tour will have an increasingly active role in the 2017 edition of Panorama d’Italia. The new feature this year is called “Treasures of Italy: the city speaks”, a contest with which Panorama will rewards a high school with an entire computer room provided by Lenovo. To participate, students will create a photographic and/or journalistic reportage, a promotional video, an artistic artefact, a painting, a poem or a short story on the theme of beauty linked to the territory visited by Panorama d’Italia. In addition, Panorama has donated more than 7,000 books to colleges in previous years thanks to the “100 books for a school” initiative, enriching the libraries of the schools that have won the competition, which returns this year. This also includes “The beauty of Milan”, the initiative that in 2016 gave Milanese high schools the opportunity to make a special edition of the school newspaper, and then awarded 10 students with an internship at Mondadori, part of a combined school and work programme. This year, as well as books for the school library, participants can also win computers and other technological tools for their school.

Naturally, there is the Milan stage of the tour, which, after the extraordinary success of 2016 – with 22,000 participants and 54 events over 7 days – this year will be held from 15 to 21 October. Among the guests will be Benji & Fede, the pop duo favourite of the very young, and stars of a unique event in favour of the charity Lega del Filo d’Oro.

Cooking classes: in addition to the usual space given to culinary excellence with show cooking events featuring best chefs and meetings with personalities from the world of food, this year the taste experience is enriched with cooking classes in collaboration with Eataly: group lessons experts and focused on recipes, to be tried out in the company of friends and family, and special moments even for children.

On the occasion of the triple stage in Umbria, there will be a big concert in Spoleto to celebrate the territory in a special evening of music and solidarity and with the special participation of Serena Autieri. The popular musicians Giovanni Allevi and Niccolò Agliardi have already signed up for the show.

Meanwhile, a Panorama d’Italia info point will be a fixed feature in 10 cities throughout the duration of this stage, and in other areas there will be an alternating series of institutional and entertainment events. As always, the protagonists are artists, musicians, writers and celebrities, with exclusive interviews, presentations, showcases and previews.

An appointment reserved for the cinema, and curated by Piera Detassis, editor of Ciak and president of the Fondazione Cinema per Roma, will be especially dedicated to actors and directors.

Among the inevitable appointments with art, we will once again feature Vittorio Sgarbi, an exceptional guide to the artistic heritage of the area. Meanwhile, The Secret City, guided tours of palaces and other places of art generally closed to the public, will bring to light the hidden treasures of each city. An opportunity to rediscover the beauty of the area is also the purpose of the bike tour organised by EICMA, which with a special appearance by Roberto Giacobbo who will guide participants around a series of monuments and architectural treasures. Among the recurring guests there will also be the editor of Chi Alfonso Signorini who will conduct exclusive special talk shows with the most popular show business personalities of the moment.

Panorama will also renew its commitment to training and work: once again this year Panorama d’Italia will provide opportunities for young high school graduates, university undergraduates and graduates to participate in panel discussions and individual orientation sessions, in collaboration with the HRCommunity Academy Italia, with the HR managers of leading companies in the area.

Also our charity partnership with the Lega del Filo d’Oro will remain central with a contribution to the construction of the new Osimo Centre, an entirely new home for the deaf and blind and multi-disabled. Fundraising efforts are brought to life thanks to our collaboration with Cruciani, which has created a new limited edition bracelet especially for the occasion, to be sold exclusively at the events of the stages of the tour and on the Lega del Filo d’Oro web site. All proceeds from the sale of the bracelet will go to the charity association.

Panorama d’Italia revs up its engine: the best of italian excellence in 10 new stages

Starting in Genoa on 30 March with many new features and an extraordinary new travelling companion: Focus From the super stage on Milan to Trapani, the third edition of the Panorama tour after two years of record numbers

30 March sees the start of the third edition of Panorama d’Italia, the live & media experience of Panorama, that gives an account of Italy directly from its squares with initiatives and events open to all. The newsmagazine edited by Giorgio Mulè returns to celebrate the protagonists of the best of Italian business, economy, culture and food & wine in 10 Italian cities between March and November with an award-winning format and many new features.

With a well-tested formula behind it, including talk shows, debates with protagonists from national politics, conferences, entertainment: last year alone the tour reached 4 million people. The people who directly participated in the events in cities totalled 110,000, with 375 guests and speakers (including 6 government ministers, 8 regional presidents and 8 mayors), 500 media outlets, 191 entrepreneurs involved in round tables and 600 companies, also including 180 innovative start-ups, 15 universities and a total of 37 sponsors.

Panorama d’Italia is a spark with the capacity to generate enthusiasm and really discuss “the best seen close up” as our claim says. The number of citizens engaged by our initiatives say a great deal but not everything,” said Panorama editor Giorgio Mulè. “The reason for this overwhelming success lies in the formula: we talk about the real, natural Italy, without bells and whistles.”

Panorama d’Italia has shown that it is an enormous photograph of the real Italy, able to immortalise the best seen close up,” Mulè added. “Every square metre of the country contains a story that’s worth telling and, once again, we want to tell it from the inside. We did it last year with 400 pages and 160 hours of live streaming. We’re doing it again this year with even more commitment and, thanks to the new partnership with Focus, we will reach a net of 9.8 million contacts, from print and online,” Mulè concluded.

The stages
In 10 stages between March and November, Panorama will cross Italy from north to south, involving examples of local excellence an prestigious guests, moderated by some of the newsmagazine’s leading journalists. For four days each city will host a rich calendar of events in the most lively and significant locations in town, in close contact with the protagonists.

Starting in Genoa (30 March -2 April) before moving on to Macerata (20-23 April), Perugia (11-14 May), Padua (8-11 June), Ravenna (29 June – 2 July), the Amalfi coast (7-10 September), Cagliari (28 September-1 October), a special stage in Milan (16-22 October) and winding up in Mantua (9-12 November) and Trapani (23-26 November).

What’s new in 2016
There is much that is new in the 2016 edition, which confirms the most appreciated events of last year and expands the offer with new partners and projects.

Focus meetings: the Panorama d’Italia schedule will be enhanced by two events organised for each step in collaboration with Focus, with 5 million readers, Italy’s most widely-read magazine, edited by Jacopo Loredan. The first meeting is dedicated to space exploration with the exceptional and prestigious fixed guest, the astronaut Umberto Guidoni, and the participation of scientists and astronauts from the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) and the European Space Agency (ESA). The second meeting, organised in collaboration with the Department of the science of the Earth’s System and Environmental Technologies CNR and the Italian Air Force, and will be dedicated to the climate, the environment and renewable energy, issues that are crucial for our future and on which the CNR and the Air Force are conducting important research and innovation activities.

During both events, participants will have the opportunity to try a virtual reality experience, thanks to an app developed exclusively for the occasion by the technology company ETT.

The Schools and Job Orientation Project: Also this year will see the repetition of an initiative that in 2015 enabled Panorama to donate 3,500 books to Italian schools involved in the tour. The passage through training to work remains, of course, one of the key issues of the entire programme and a special initiative is dedicated to innovative companies: “90 secondi per spiccare il volo” (“90 seconds to take off”), is a competition that, on every stage of the tour, awards the best start ups with a special “tool box” with tools and resources to develop the business. To take part, all you need to do is to submit a 90-second video that Panorama will publish on its web site.

In addition to training and work, there is also support for universities that will, from time to time, host meetings with startuppers, venture capitalists and innovation experts to discuss the possibilities of developing business and opportunities in the territory. In addition, Panorama d’Italia will devote the Friday mornings to activities to job orientation, mainly for young school-leavers, final-year students and recent graduates who will be able to take part in roundtables and individual meetings, made in collaboration with HRCommunity Academy Italia and human resources professionals from the leading companies in the area.

The Milan stage: Milan, the capital of Lombardy, will be a special step of the tour and, extraordinarily, will last for 7 days in which there will be even more events and initiatives. These will include the creation by Panorama of an innovative work training project. With the direct involvement of the editorial staff of the magazine and a number of high schools in Milan, a special edition of the school magazine will be produced that will be distributed during the events on the programme. Subsequently, the kids will have the chance to participate in a training internship directly in the offices of the newsmagazine.

A solidarity partnership: the charitable partnership with the Lega del Filo d’Oro will be renewed also for 2016, but this year it will take the form of a project: to contribute to the creation of the new centre at Osimo, an entirely new home for the deaf and blind and the sensory disabled in general. The collection of funds will be made thanks to the cooperation of Cruciani, who, for the occasion, have produced a limited-edition bracelet that will be on sale exclusively at the locations of the events on the tour dates and from the Lega del Filo d’Oro’s web site. Proceeds from the sale of the bracelet will be entirely dedicated to the association’s ends.

While a Panorama d’Italia info point will be a fixed presence during the entire stage, other areas of the city will host institutional events and entertainment. Prestigious authors of books being published will be the protagonists of meet-the-author events, while actors and directors will be involved in a special event dedicated to the cinema and organised by Piera Detassis, editor of Ciak and chairman of Rome’s Fondazione Cinema. Singers and musicians will be involved in exclusive interviews and concerts that will be open to the public.

In addition to the meetings and debates with leading national figures from the world of politics and business, Panorama d’Italia will also be an opportunity to rediscover the beauties of the local artistic heritage, thanks to a guided tour led by Vittorio Sgarbi of the most significant art works. Plus, this year, Panorama will organise, in collaboration with the municipalities, special guided tours of palaces and other artistic locations generally closed to the public, in order to discover the hidden treasures of each city.

Ample space will also be given to the fin food and wine of the area, with show cooking events featuring the best chefs and meetings with personalities from the world of food.

Finally, every Saturday, the editor of Chi Alfonso Signorini will invite a celebrity from the world of show business to take part in an exclusive talk show.

Panorama d’Italia online
The main events will be covered live on Panoramaditalia.it, on the channel Panorama.tv. In fact, last year alone, over 160 hours of events were broadcast in streaming, as well as real time updates, photos and videos of the stages of the tour. The tour’s web site also this year will feature an area to register for the events which will also ensure a free three-month subscription to the digital edition of Panorama.

It will be possible to share impressions and experiences of all the Panorama d’Italia events on the leading social networks using the hashtag #panoramaditalia. Last year alone, the number of users in the community on social media numbered 276,500, with a total of 2,780,000 views only on Facebook.

“To report on on the best seen close up, in all the areas that make our country unique: this was our mission,” said the editor of Panorama Giorgio Mulè. “We tried to do it with all our strengths, offering 400 pages of the magazine, and 160 hours of live streaming, taking up the invitation of President Mattarella to recount the beauty that is there. The numbers and enthusiasm that we have encountered tell us that we succeeded. And this is why Panorama d’Italia is an experience that must not and will not end here. We will start again next year with a new adventure visiting 10 other cities, because there are still so many treasures in this great country, that are worth is worth recounting from close up,” said Mule.

A number of protagonists from world of music and entertainment accompanied Panorama’s journey through Italy from north to south, including Fedez, J-Ax, Edoardo Bennato, Il Volo, Malika Ayane, Mara Venier, Lino Banfi, Nino Frassica, the guys from Braccialetti Rossi and many other guests from the world of film, TV, theatre, literature and art.

And art itself was the great protagonist of the keynote address made by Vittorio Sgarbi, at the Capodimonte Museum in Naples, the Teatro Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo, the Petruzzelli in Bari and the Gian Carlo Menotti in Spoleto, among others. Culture was a running theme, with special attention given to books, that were a constant feature of all stages: indeed, Panorama gave a gift of books to four schools in each city, the selection earned by the students who were best able to explain why book’s are important; or presented by the authors themselves, including Valerio Massimo Manfredi, Nicola Lagioia, Maurizio De Giovanni and many more.

Many companies also embraced the spirit of the tour and followed Panorama on its journey, both accompanying the entire project and with both targeted events on one or more specific stages: companies who created, together with the magazine, an opportunity for a qualified encounter with their public. The main sponsors of the entire tour were: Autostrade per l’Italia, Banca Mediolanum, EICMA, Enel, Eni, Grana Padano, IBM, Invitalia, MSC Cruises, Università Telematica Pegaso, in addition to the charity partnership with the Lega del Filo d’oro.

Panorama d’Italia was developed in collaboration with The Triumph Group International, for executive production, organisation and logistics, while the digital platform and strategy were managed by H2H.

Panorama announces the new edition of Panorama d’Italia, 10 stops on a tour of discovery of Italian excellence

The second edition will start from 25 March following the success of over 200 events, 3 million people involved and 100 million contacts established in 2014

Panorama, the newsmagazine edited by Giorgio Mulè, returns to the streets to discuss Italy from the territory. In fact, 25 March sees the launch of he new edition of Panorama d’Italia, the live media experience that will take to 10 Italian cities a calendar of initiatives and events to stimulate dialogue with citizens and establish a link with the excellence of Made in Italy and the world of business, the economy, culture, food and wine.

The first edition, in 2014, reached 3 million people with a total of 100 million contacts, and involving, at more than 200 events, 400 media organisations, 11 universities, 120 entrepreneurs, over 500 companies and 180 startups, as well as the participation of more than 300 prestigious guests and speakers, including 6 government ministers and 7 Regional Presidents.

“Last year,” declared the editor of Panorama Giorgio Mulè, “we gave a voice to the best of Italy in a revolutionary way, transforming cities into stages with live events integrated with the fabric of local life. And we did it in the best way we know how: presenting ourselves as what we are, with the strength and credibility of a brand that for over 50 years has recounted the country to itself, both its critical aspects and its opportunities. With this adventure in 10 new cities, we will continue to give voice and visibility to the future of Italy to those who create that future every day. We will also make our contribution to draw in young people to the world of business by bringing the best of both into contact,” Mulè concluded.

Also this year Panorama will dedicate in its pages extensive coverage of each of the cities on the tour, giving an account of its excellences ahead of the stop and, in the subsequent issue, a portrait of the city by a writer who will focus, each in his own way, on the characteristics of the place and its people. And, finally, there will be a detailed report about all of the events and guests involved, with photos of the four days that Panorama d’Italia has dedicated to the city.

The stops
In 10 stops, from March to November, Panorama will cross Italy from north to south. And to do so, the magazine will involve both local excellences and prestigious guests, moderated by the magazine’s journalists and columnists, directly in the places where citizens live out their daily lives.

For four days, each city will have a rich calendar of events at the most representative and lively locations and in close contact with the protagonists. The tour starts in Naples (25-28 March) before moving on to Vicenza (15-18 April), Pisa (6-9 May), Varese (27-30 May), Matera (17-20 June) and, after the summer break, Trento (9-12 September), Spoleto (30 September – 3 October), Modena (21-24 October), Bari (4-7 November), Palermo (18-21 November).

The Home of Panorama d’Italia
The nerve centre of Panorama d’Italia will be the new “Home” that for each stop on the tour will be set up in the main square of the host city: a totally transparent structure with a large table featuring a silhouette of Italy. Inside the lounge area is an infopoint accompanied by large screens that will project live streaming coverage of the events taking place across the city, the calendar with times and places and background detail and videos of events that have taken place. Plus, a special social wall will project the tweets and photos of participants who want to share their experience using the hashtag #panoramaditalia. The tablets positioned on the table in relation to the cities involved in the Panorama d’Italia tour will offer the public additional information and the possibility of signing up for the events on the programme. Useful information will also be provided by info panels and totems outlining details of events.

The events and new features of the 2015 edition
While the Home will be the focal point of Panorama for the entire duration of each stage of the tour, other areas of the city will host institutional events and debates with exponents of national significance from the world of politics and business. Prestigious authors of books about to be published will be the protagonists of special encounters with the public and space will also be given to personalities from the world of entertainment, musicians and singers. Actors and directors will enjoy a special space dedicated to cinema and run by Piera Detassis, editor of Ciak and president of the Cinema for Rome Foundation. Special attention in this new edition will be given to the designers and stylists that represent the excellence of the area and the best of Made in Italy and, on each occasion, catwalk shows and glamorous events will be organised in which such designers can display their personal interpretations of style.

Of central importance in each of the cities visited will be the contribution of the universities that will, on each occasion, host meetings with young startups, venture capitalists and experts in innovation to discuss the possibilities of creating businesses and the opportunities offered in the area. Among the new features this year will be the involvement of younger students: in fact:, in collaboration with Mondadori Libri, Panorama will donate 100 books to a school in each city, after having invited pupils in their last year to write a short essay on “Why Panorama should leave a “legacy” of 100 books to my school”. All of the contributions received will be read by the staff of the magazine and the most significant and original will be published in the weekly and on Panorama.it and will enable the school of provenance to claim the gift of 100 books, to be presented by the editor Giogio Mulè during the stay in the city.

Panorama d’Italia will also offer an opportunity to rediscover the beauty of the artistic heritage of the area, thanks to a guided tour by Vittorio Sgarbi of the most representative works of art. Space will also be given to the food and wine of the area with show cooking demonstrations by leading chefs and meetings with personalities from the world of food. Finally, every Saturday, the editor of Chi Alfonso Signorini will invite a personality from the world of entertainment for an exclusive talk show.

The entire calendar of events will also be offered by the special gift boxes Box For You, with which it is possible to buy a package that includes an overnight stay in one of the cities on the tour and privileged access to the most important events on the stop selected.

The main events can also be followed live on Panoramaditalia.it and on the Panorama.tv channel. In 2000 she moved to Panorama, where she has covered roles of increasing responsibility, becoming head of the Rome office in 2009.

The Panorama System
With a range of initiatives that range across print media and the web, Panorama is at the centre of a system that involves all channels of communication, from tables and mobile, to events around the country.

The development of Panorama is proceeding also on the web with Panorama.it, which, thanks to its ability to provide immediate and detailed news coverage, in June recorded more than 4 million unique users (Source: ShinyStat). It also has a significant presence on all the main social networks: with over 110,000 fans on Facebook, while the total number of Twitter followers has doubled since 2013 to over 100,000.

Meanwhile the great success of the “Panorama d’Italia” tour continues, in which the weekly magazine goes in search of excellence around the country: after the summer break, the live&media experience will continue stopping of in Verona (10-13 September), Verbania (24-27 September), Brescia (8-11 October), Viterbo (22-25 October), Catania (5-8 November) before concluding in Salerno (19-22 November).

Print, web, tablet, mobile and initiatives across the country: Panorama reinforces its system

The Panorama system is being reinforced to include all of the channels of communication, from print, the web, tablets and mobile, as well as initiatives and events across the country.

In particular, from tomorrow, the Mondadori newsmagazine edited by Giorgio Mulè, will present itself to readers in a decidedly new look, designed by Pier Paolo Pitacco and created with the art director Roberto Bettoni and, making the magazine more modern, elegant and easy to read thanks also to the use of opaque glossy paper .

But the real change will be in the second half of the magazine, which will be called Link and will modify the editorial mix by tipping the wink to men’s passions: from fashion (with features and still life) to cosmetics, art tours, from culture to music, technology and cars, and, of course, design. The first half of the magazine will remain focused on the most important current affairs from Italy and around the world, including the investigative reporting that has always been a hallmark of Panorama.

This revamping of the weekly is part of an overall updating of the system around Panorama. In fact, from 2014, the women’s title Flair the male lifestyle magazine ICON (launched with great success in October 2013 also in Spain with El Pais), have both gone from five to six issues per year.

The development of Panorama is proceeding at the same rate also on the web. The Panorama.it web site. thanks to its ability to offer immediate and detailed news, focused on the extensive use of multimedia content, in January and February 2014 attracted more than 4 million unique users (4.4 in January 2014 and 4.1 million in February 2014), with a total of around 16 million page views per month (Source: Censuario ShinyStat). And there was huge growth, compared with 2013, in the brand’s presence on the main social networks: the number of Facebook fans has almost reached 100,000, while doubling the number of followers on Twitter (54,000).

Plus, for the first time ever, Panorama is going on tour around Italy with “Panorama d’Italia”, a live & media experience that, from 2 April, starting in Reggio Calabria, will visit 10 Italian cities with a calendar of 150 integrated initiatives and dialogue with 300 speakers and 3 million citizens and establishing a link between the excellence of Made in Italy in the world of business, the economy, culture, food and wine.

The new Panorama, on newsstands from Thursday 27 March at a special price if just €1, will also be a collectors’ issue: in fact, the cover, entitled La meglio Italia (The Best of Italy) has exceptionally been designed by the Oscar winner Dante Ferretti.

In support of the magazine, a multichannel media campaign has been organised with the claim “Panorama entra nel vivo(Panorama gets to the heart of things), on leading TV, newspapers, radio and web media.
