We are pleased to announce that the Mondadori Group is one of the winners in the “Innovation” category of the SAP Quality Awards 2023, the annual prize awarded by SAP to business projects that stand out for their innovation and benefits.

This award recognises the quality of our “BI Purchases&Operations” project, which, by implementing a solution entirely in the cloud, has made it possible for the first time to set up monitoring and data discovery tools, both operational and managerial, that enable the company to manage the end-to-end process of purchasing and industrial budgeting for the production of books in the retail sector.

In addition to the IT department and the Trade Operations department, SAP and SDG Group also collaborated on this project, providing valuable support in the application of implementation best practices, project governance and the implementation phase.

The colleagues who worked on the project received the award during SAP Now 2023, the most important annual event that SAP Italia dedicates to its business community.
