The ‘Oscars’ of the creators of Generation Z. For the first time live, last night saw the fourth edition of the Webboh Awards, the ‘Oscars’ of Italian creators assigned by to the figures on the digital scene most appreciated by GenZ. With almost 5 million votes cast on the brand’s website, the Webboh community selected the winners from 150 candidates divided into 16 categories: from Best creator to Revelation of the year, from Best food creator to Best teen idol. Particularly appreciated were Mattia Stanga, awarded Best TikTok creator and Best comedy creator, and Elisa True Crime, winner of the Best youtuber award. The event was hosted by Alessia Lanza and Jody Cecchetto, who welcomed many special guests to the stage: Barbara D’Urso, who awarded Leo Bonni as Revelation of the year; Ernst Knam, who presented the prize for Best food creator to Cookergirl; Benedetta de Luca, who gave Pietro Morello the prize in the Best value category. The event was broadcast live on Webboh’s Instagram and TikTok profiles. The live broadcast and the content generated, both by the brand and the creators present, reached a total of 35 million people.
