“Legendary cars”: the new collection of unpublished books dedicated to the brands that shaped automotive history

On newsstands with TV Sorrisi e Canzoni, a journey through technology, design, and legend

For over a hundred years, the automobile has transformed the world, multiplying individual freedoms and creating true collective imaginations. This is the key concept behind “Legendary cars”, a new and exclusive collection of unreleased collectible books dedicated to the major car manufacturers that redesigned our way of living, dreaming, and imagining ourselves on the move.

Each volume, paired with the magazine TV Sorrisi e Canzoni, traces the origins of iconic brands: from Ferrari to Alfa Romeo, from Porsche to BMW, passing through Mercedes and Maserati, as well as British icons and Japanese sports cars.

The editorial project, characterized by engaging texts accompanied by a rich iconographic catalog, offers the reader a true cultural, human, and technical fresco. Each book in the series thus becomes an authentic collector’s item, capable of telling the story of the cars that revolutionized design, innovation, and lifestyle.

“Legendary Cars”, created in co-edition with White Star, foresees a bi-weekly publication schedule for the first five issues – dedicated to Porsche, Ferrari, Alfa, Mercedes, and Fiat – and starting from the 6th issue, the collection will continue on a weekly basis until July 2027. The first volume “Porsche” is available at newsstands at the launch price of 5.90 euros, with subsequent volumes priced at 11.90 euros (magazine price excluded).
