Mondadori Store, Italy’s largest network of bookshops, is set to open a new store in the centre of Trani: a space dedicated to books and entertainment, created to offer visitors a high-quality experience, with the aim of spreading culture and promoting reading.

With a floor area of 120 square metres and a modern layout, the new Mondadori Bookstore has been designed to meet the needs of all audiences. Customers will be welcomed by the shop’s passionate booksellers and a catalogue of 18,000 titles, ranging from great classics to bestsellers, including fiction, non-fiction, general interest and international titles.

“We are delighted to create a new space in the centre of Trani dedicated to books and entertainment, with a forward-thinking concept that will host collaborations with the city’s schools, libraries and cultural festivals,” says Giovanni D’Avanzo, a Mondadori Store franchisee. “We want this bookshop to become a point of reference for everyone. A place where people can share their love of reading and enjoy experiences that go beyond simply buying a book,” D’Avanzo concludes.

The bookshop will display all the latest releases, with dedicated themed areas designed to suit every reader’s tastes. These include We are Junior,  a space for younger readers featuring educational games and illustrated books to spark their imagination through engaging stories; Just Comics, the section devoted to the world of manga and graphic novels; and My New Romance, a new corner for fans of romance fiction, one of the most popular literary genres of the moment. The store’s offering is further enriched by a selection of books in their original language, as well as a wide range of stationery, toys, gadgets and gift cards.

Trani’sMondadori Bookstore will also cater to online readers: customers can stay up to date via its Instagram and Facebook pages. In addition, they can get in touch with the bookshop through the digital channels of  Mondadoristore.it to check book availability, place orders, collect in-store or have items delivered to their home.

Among the services available will also be Zeercle, a platform that allows customers to sell their books, as well as CDs, vinyl records, physical video games, DVDs and Blu-ray discs, in exchange for a gift card corresponding to the value assigned to the items, which can be used in Mondadori Store bookshops and on the related website.

Mondadori Store is Italy’s largest network of bookshops, with more than 500 outlets across the country, from major cities to smaller towns. These cultural hubs operate nationwide under the Mondadori Bookstore brand, both directly managed and franchised, alongside company-owned stores such as Mondadori Bookstore | MA, Mondadori Duomo and Rizzoli Milano.
