On Thursday 6 August at 6:00 pm, Mondadori Store, the largest network of bookstores in Italy, will inaugurate a new store in Sicily, in the historic centre of Partinico (PA), offering the community a space dedicated to the world of books and entertainment. The event, with the customary ribbon-cutting ceremony, will see the presence of the mayor Pietro Rao, the Councillor for Culture Dorotea Speciale, and local school principals.

The new Mondadori Bookstore covers an area of 130 square metres and features a modern layout with spaces dedicated to various literary genres. Welcoming the public will be a team of expert booksellers and a catalogue of over 8.000 titles, from great classics to best sellers, including fiction, non-fiction and international works.

“We are proud to offer the passionate readers of Partinico a new space entirely dedicated to books and culture,” declared Gioia and Giorgia Piazza, Mondadori Store franchisees who also manage the Bagheria store. “We want this bookstore to become a meeting and sharing place, capable of creating new connections within the community.”

The Partinico bookstore hosts all the latest releases with specific thematic areas designed to satisfy the tastes of all readers, such as We are Junior, the space for younger readers that includes educational games and illustrated books to stimulate their imagination with the most intriguing stories; Just Comics, the department dedicated to the phenomenon of manga and comic books; My New Romance, the new space aimed at lovers of the romance universe, one of the most popular literary genres at the moment; as well as a wide selection of stationery products, toys, gadgets, and gift cards. The bookstore will also host several events and collaborations with local schools, children’s workshops, and book clubs.

The Mondadori Bookstore in Partinico is also at the service of readers online: customers can stay updated through the Instagram and Facebook pages.
