Animating the New York design week, seven events to compare American and Italian design
INTERNI, that for over sixty years has been a spokesman for Italian design around the world, and Salone del Mobile.Milano, the most important international furniture fair present “American Architects meet Italian Design”: a cycle of seven events to animate the New York design week by comparing through open debate American design and the Made in Italy business.
The conferences, which are open to the public, will take place in the showrooms of some of the leading Italian design brands, transformed for the occasion into unique showcases. The guest, leading American architects, will shed light on their working methods and measure themselves against the history of Italian furniture design.

The magazine will be distributed in New York, with an additional print run of 15,000 copies at the most important design and fashion showrooms, art galleries and luxury hotels. After the excellent performance of recent months, also this new international issue confirms the magazine’s leadership in terms of advertising among architecture and design monthlies, with growing revenues compared to 2014.
The 2015 edition of INTERNI DESIGN GUIDE NEW YORK will be exclusively digital: the free App (for iPhone, iPad, and Android smartphones and tablets) will contain useful information about the main design districts and over 100 locations (design stores, restaurants, hotels and cafés) where events, conferences and presentations will take place. The app will make it possible to select where to go by choosing the date, the area of the city and the category, it will locate the event on a map and explain how to reach it. In addition, INTERNI flags will indicate where the design events are.
After this New York appointment during ICFF (16-19 May), the circuit that involves the most important flagship stores of Italian design companies will continue in London during the “London Design Festival” (19-27 September) and, for the first time, in Miami on the occasion of the “Miami/Art Basel Miami Beach” (2-6 December).
