Starting on Saturday, 12 July, Mondadori Store, the largest network of bookstores in Italy, will also be present in the La Noce shopping centre, introducing a new place dedicated to the world of books and entertainment in the municipality of San Cesareo (RM).

This new franchised store expands the extensive Mondadori Store network in Rome, in line with the brand’s strategy of spreading culture and promoting reading through sociocultural initiatives.
The bookshop will offer the entire community a place to meet, due to events with authors for adults, teenagers and children, and initiatives in cooperation with local schools.

‘With over twenty years of experience in the business, we are now opening a bookshop in a shopping centre for the first time,’ say Aurora and Guido Ciarla, Mondadori Store affiliates. ‘Our intention is to share our love of books and reading with bookstore customers in the La Noce shopping centre, demonstrating the passion we put into our work every day as booksellers. Our goal is to create moments to come together and for sharing, also through literature-related initiatives, solidifying our bond with customers and the local area,’ say the franchisees, who also own the Mondadori Bookstores in Cisterna, Frascati, Genzano, Lariano and Velletri.

The new Mondadori Bookstore has a floor area of ​​150 square meters with a catalogue of over 11,000 titles, from the great classics to bestsellers, including fiction, non-fiction and international books. Particular attention is paid to younger readers with the We are Junior format, which includes educational games and illustrated books to stimulate their imagination with the most curious stories, and the Just Comics section dedicated to manga and comics. Expanding the bookstore’s offerings are also areas dedicated to #BookTok for new generations of readers, in addition to those reserved for stationery, toys, gadgets, gift cards and gift boxes. Services include the new Zeercle system, which allows customers to return used books in exchange for gift cards.

The Mondadori Bookstore in the La Noce shopping centre is also available to readers online, where customers can stay up to date through the Instagram and Facebook pages. Readers can also contact the bookstore through the digital services of Mondadoristore.it to check the availability of a book, order it, pick it up in store or have it shipped. The bookstore also offers telephone order services to all customers.

The new Mondadori Bookstore is part of the ongoing regeneration and development plan of Mondadori Store, the largest network of bookstores in Italy, with over 500 stores in large cities and smaller towns.
