The Board of Directors today approved the Mondadori Group’s results for the first quarter of 2026, presented by CEO Antonio Porro. The period closed with revenues of €170.9 million, up 3.9% compared to March 31, 2025.
“The first-quarter results confirm the strength of our Group and its ability to grow in key segments. In fact, 2026 began with strategic transactions that have strengthened our competitive position, starting with the digital sector: the acquisition of Edilportale has consolidated our leadership and enabled our new Digital division to expand its reach. M&A activities continued even after the end of the quarter, and a few weeks ago, we acquired Hoepli’s school and university publishing division: a historic and highly prestigious brand with which we will strengthen our catalog in key areas and specific segments,” stated Antonio Porro.
“The book market has shown signs of recovery, driven by funding allocated to libraries, with our publishing houses reporting increases in both revenue and profitability. As for Retail, the business model has proven to be solid and resilient, thanks to the strength and extensive reach of the physical network, which has continued to grow. In Media, the Group benefited from several successful joint sales initiatives,” concluded Porro.
